| An epay find and cheap enough. Regular issue and was surprised I had someone put a bid against me. Maybe one of the most overlooked castings but one of my favorites! Personal reasons, I miss the one I grew up with. I made a space for it already. No WL or nuthin... cant wait till it gets here! |

Congrats on the win Bob!
Tell me more about the car Bob. What series is it from? What color is the car? I'm really curious now. |

The white one...
pic from jlcollector.com
The blue one is an exact copy of the one I had growing up.
This is Muscle Cars 3 release 2. This makes 15 for me so far with the matching whites. JL did a great job on this one! |

Here is the one I had...
I bought this car from my father and he is proud to have the JL version also. She had the 400 4bbl and man it was quick.
Alas, end over end through a corn field at 115 mph. I was young and dumb. I was able to walk home. |

You were lucky to walk home Bob.
Post a pic when you get the car in the mail. Are you going to open it? |

Of course I'm gonna open it
These are going in a display case. I'm not sure why but the tires dont really seem to roll well on this casting. But it is a favorite of mine. If youve never driven one... this is a big car. That nose goes out a long way. All the comfort of a highway cruiser but it is a quick muscle car. Dodge did good on this one. Best of both worlds. Dad cruised this one from Ohio to Arizona and back the long way. The truckers would come on the radio saying " hey blue Charger". It was ordered new with Montego (sp) blue paint. Blue cloth interior. She was sweet! That is one I am proud to say I have owned. Dad was a little more then upset at her demise. I still am. But that was a LONG time ago. I dont know what it is about cars, but I still think of her now and then. |

I remember a few years ago some woman signed up for Hobby Talk just so she could try and find one of the red&black ones (her husband owned a 1:1), which I happened to have. I got her address and RAOK'd her, you'd have thought I gave her a real one! |
